What is Transport Manager CPC & why do I need it?
Applicants for a Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence or Passenger Carrying Vehicle Operator Licence must show that they are ‘professionally competent’ or that they employ a transport manager who meets the requirements.
Someone will be considered ‘professionally competent’ when they have passed the examination for the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) conducted on behalf of the Department for Transport (DfT).
Transport Manager CPC as a qualification is a legal requirement in the LGV and PCV industry of the operator licensing system for both Standard National and International licences.
The course we offer is run through OCR examination (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA) examine board.
Although the syllabus is mandated, the training course, the format and support of candidates we offer can be adjusted to offer best support and improve their chances of passing.
